AT&T will not allow hold at FedEx location for iPhone 5 shipment

I am out of town this week and received the shipping notification this morning. I went to the full FedEx site to have them hold it at the local store until Saturday which they won't! It is not an option available. There is no pre sign option either so what can I do to get FedEx or att to hold my phone or just leave it?

You can leave it on your door and have the driver leave it with someone or on your door
