Apparently all of the bugs aren't completely worked out of the new A7 chipset and architecture on the iPhone 5S. According to a recent report, programs/apps on the iPhone 5S crash twice as often as they do on the iPhone 5 or iPhone 5C (which is based upon the same core architecture as the iPhone 5). While this at first sounds alarming, it's actually not worth getting worked up over. As it turns out, despite apps on the iPhone 5S crashing double the amount as the other devices, it still doesn't amount to much. Crittercism's CEO Andrew Levy had this to say,

“programs crash about two percent on the iPhone 5s, as compared to just under one percent on both the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5.”

As you can see, 2% of the time is hardly worth paying attention to. Furthermore, it's probably to be expected considering the new chip in the iPhone 5S is based upon a new 64-bit architecture. After some more updates and refinements to iOS7 and the many apps out there, it likely won't be long before that crash percentage shrinks back down to equal levels. In the mean-time, we probably don't need to lose any sleep over it.
