We here at iPhone Forums just wanted to remind you about the special event Apple is holding today. Apple is expecting to announce all new Macbook Pros, Macbook Airs, Apple TV and hopefully a surprise or two. The event is kicking off at 10:00 Pacific Time. You can catch it live here: Apple Events - Keynote October 2016

Who's ready!?

According to #appleevent on Twitter

"We have something special to show you"

Sounds interesting.

Here comes the new MacBook Pro! It does indeed have the new OLED function screen above the keyboard.

It comes in 13" and 15" sizes. Theyre thinner, lighter, a Force-Touch trackpad twice as large as before and have 4 ports plus the headphone jack. It's also the end of the function key on the MacBook.

Touch ID is now part of the MacBook Pro and is integrated with the power button. It can be used with Apple Pay and for logging in to the Mac.

The new touch bar is awesome! I can see some really good uses for it. It reminds me of the keyboard overlays some of the old PC games use to come with.

There are four Thunderbolt 3 ports, any one of which can be used for charging and other functions. They are all USB C compatible.
