Apple to release cheaper iPhone, iPad, HomePod, MacBook Air this year.JPG

If you’re thinking about buying a particular Apple device anytime soon then you might want to wait a couple of months, as according to a new report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, via Mac Otakara and MacRumors, Apple is planning to release cheaper versions of four of its most popular products this year, including the HomePod, iPhone, MacBook Air and iPad.

Starting with the HomePod, MacRumors says that it should launch in the second half of this year, and will cost between $150 and $200 in the US.

Next up, according to Economic Daily News, Apple will be releasing a 9.7-inch iPad for $259 in the US, also in the second quarter of this year.

Thirdly, Apple will be launching a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone priced between $649 to $749. There’s no release period mentioned for this one, but it will most likely be around September time, the usual iPhone launch period. This backs up many other recent rumours that have said that Apple will be releasing two high-end OLED iPhones and a cheaper LCD iPhone.

And last, but definitely not least, as was rumoured at the weekend in a new report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new source also says that Apple will be releasing a cheaper MacBook Air, priced at around $799 to $899.
