Apple’s Philip Schiller Says White iPhone is “a Beauty!”

Yet more official proof has surfaced that the white iPhone 4 is on its way very soon! Engadget reports that Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, mentioned the once-elusive white iPhone 4 in the following reply on his Twitter page, which was sent in response to someone asking him how they could get a white iPhone:

“Hi Eric. The white iPhone will be available this spring (and it is a beauty!).”

As Engadget points out, although there have been many recent rumours to the effect that the white iPhone will soon see the light of day, this is one of the first official confirmations of said fact from an actual Apple executive, even if “spring” is a little vague, and could mean next week or June! Good to know that the long-awaited phone will be worth the wait though, judging by Schiller’s enthusiastic comments. The question is, will there still be a demand for it with the iPhone 5 just around the corner?
