Apple HDTV Will Have a Retina Display or Not?

Both the new iPad 3 and the latest MacBook Pro have been equipped with Retina Display. Recently, screen mega-expert Raymond Soneira, the CEO of DisplayMate Technologies firmly believes that Apple's HDTV will follow the 3rd gen iPad and new MacBook Pro to have a Retina Display. Apple will continue this technology to almost all their upcoming releases.

It is not known when Apple Inc (AAPL) will be ready to launch this futuristic TV but according to Forbes, with its use of advanced technology and expensive components, Retina television would cost around $25000 per unit, making it affordable only for the rich. However, it is much more likely that, as time passes, Apple will be able to produce less expensive TV’s with Retinal display.
