AppleInsider reports today on a sure sign that Apple has confidence that it is going to sell a lot of iPhone 7 units, with the company increasing parts orders for the forthcoming iPhone. This actually ties in with other recent news reports that predicted bumper sales for the iPhone 7 due to there being a large number of iPhone owners with phones of more than 2 years old who would be looking to upgrade their phones to the newest model. It’s also possible that the recall of Samsung’s Note7 phablet might increase demand for the iPhone 7 Plus.

According to Taiwanese supply chain sources that were quoted in DigiTimes, Apple has increased its orders from suppliers by 10%. It’s thought that Apple has made this move so that it can keep up with launch and holiday demand. Sales are then expected to slow down at the start of 2017, and parts orders are there expected to fall in December.
