Apple has revolutionized the way we see the world. It’s like the company has provided us with a wonderful pair of 3D glasses that manages to enhance our perspective on the world. Can you even image your life without the iPhone now? Even if most of us can’t really picture a world with the iDevices in it, Apple seems to consider that there are some folks out there who still need to be persuaded to buy the iPhone 4S. So, it quietly rolled out two news iPhone 4S ads in order to boast Siri’s voice recognition. The videos have been added to its iPhone videos web page.

In “Road Trip” we see a guy who decides to travel across the country with his loved one, so they wonder from Boston to Santa Cruz. The lovers both use Siri multiple times throughout the trip. In the second add “Rock God” – we’re shown the story of a young aspiring artist, from the time he goes to the guitar store to buy the much needed instrument, to the moment he forms a band and changes the name Siri addresses him by.

The ads highlight Siri’s competence for carrying out tasks, but in none of the commercials is Siri’s name spoken out loud. The actors ask questions and receive precise answers, ranging from wondering how certain constellations look like to where to find a guitar shop. Bottom line, Siri’s usefulness for real life activities is highlighted in both the videos. The idea is the device can be integrated in every daily activity to the degree that the device can become one of the family.
