About two weeks later my Apple ID was used to buy a bunch of music. How does somebody get your Apple ID without having your phone to look it up?

They not only need your Apple ID, they also need the Apple ID password.
Did you ever receive an email that seemed to come from Apple which asked you to log into your Apple account for some purported reason? Apple never sends such emails.

Ive never even bought an app. I would never fall for that in my emails. Only person that ever touched my phone was at the place i bought it. She was going through it quite a bit plus i think she pulled a fast one when i bought the phone. She said there was a promotion at the store 100.00 off plus at&t had the phone half off which brought it down to 250.00 plus activation. Ive been fighting to get it for that sinse then. I even signed papers saying it was 250.00 but the copies she gave me said it is 650.00. So i sence she is the thief that was on my phone quite a bit.
