About uninstalling Cydia

I came to my normal state(unjailbreak) by uninstalling cydia via Manage->and then remove cydia installer.
Is this a proper way
will it harm my phone

iOS-6.1
Jailbroken using Evasi0n

im afraid that it will harm my phone

The only way to return a jailbroken device to a non-jailbroken state is to restore it using DFU mode in iTunes.
