4S often requires 'Hard Reset' to turn on. Whatsup

Over last 3 weeks, have had to 'Hard Reset' my 4S [hold down On/Off+Home Button] to turn on. Then works normal for several days.....then repeat.
Hey you gurus, any ideas? Unit is unlocked, with T-Mob. service & Sim chip; however not under Apple warranty. ThanX for all your help! Bill

More than likely a software hiccup. Backup the device completely, restore it, and restore the backup.
