3GS having problems detecting wifi

I'm currently running iOS 6.0.1. My iPhone can't seem to locate my home wifi eventho I'm sitting right next to the modem. Does this mean my phone's wifi antenna is spoilt? I rebooted my iPhone many times already and it still can't seem to locate my home wifi. But other devices such as my iPod have no problem detecting and connecting to my wifi. I also rebooted the modem a few times but to no avail. HELP PLEASE!

Reset the network settings on your iPhone. If all fails, I would recommend upgrading to iOS 6.1 and see if the problem persists.
