3g (jailbroken) stuck on logo after reset

Well having got a 4s , I thought I would delete all contacts etc on my old 3G and sell on eBay... It's jailbroken with os4.
Anyway, after deleting all contacts etc, it's now stuck on the pineapple logo, not sure what to do..... Not worried about loosing the jailbreak, just want it working to sell

Ideas ???

Need a restore or try holding both home and power button fir 30 secs

Yes bob... your best bet is to upgrade the 3GS to 5.0.1 via iTunes. This will wipe the phone clear of everything... including the Jailbreak.
