30 pin component video cable

I'm hoping someone can answer this. I'm trying to find a solution to show a painting in progress on a television. Does anyone know if an IPhone 3/4 or iPod touch 2/3/4 sends the camera signal out through this cable so I can show the camera signal live on the television?

You have two major choices for your request.

1) Apple Composite AV Cable - This will do exactly as you requested.

2) Apple TV - Ads - This will give you greater flexibility going forward but at double the cost.

I'd just like to update this thread for others who may stumble upon it. An Ipod Touch (4th gen) in combination with the Apple Composite AV cable will only show some content out through the video cable. It does send still images, and recorded video. It does not stream the camera or 'mirror' the device screen through the cable.
