2 newbie questions please...

forgive me if these are dumb questions.. but this is the first time I ever jailbroke an iphone...

1) when i do a backup in itunes now, does it save jailbreak info, or is this the same as pre-jailbreak and it is just saving my contact, apps, notes etc.. NOT the os itself...so I should continue to backup every now and then just like before?

2) in future when apple rolls out new Os and a new jailbreak is created for it and i re-JB my phone, I assume i won;t have to buy all apps again? so when I JB and cydia is on my phone again, how will Cydia know all the apps I already purchased and let me just install them again?

2 - you can log in with facebook and another method also. You will be able to download all your purchases.

I bought loads when I had my iPhone 4 and when I got my 4s all tweaks n apps were ready to download again

Backing up is exactly the same as before. iTunes won't back up any jailbreak info whatsoever...
