Need help switching back to Starhub from Straight Talk

I had a somewhat similar problem switching from PureTalk to AT&T GoPhone. PureTalk put a program on my iPhone plus which prevented my AT&T Internet connection. Only when I deleted the program was I able to connect via AT&T to the Internet. It still shows PureTalk when I dial 611 to get to my...

    IPhone 5 no contract

I guess low signal was the reason for the latest problem. Now it shows Submit Reply/Preview Post. So once I press Submit Reply, the message should appear on the thread. If it does, maybe Apple fixed the bug? Here we go…

Thanks for all answers I received. I think I'll wait till Apple sells the unlocked 5 here in the States. I tried to reply to the Thread, but the Send button stayed grayed out! Wonder why? Sent from my iPad using iPF.net

    IPhone 5 no contract

Thanks, I assumed there was some difference. So if Verizon is sim unlocked, you should be able to take it to Europe and buy a Sim card for local use? Assuming that works, then one should be able to use an AT&T Card in a Verizon iPhone 5 and vice versa?

    IPhone 5 no contract

Wow, that's news to me. I just don't like buying from Best Buy.However if they're selling it, the others won't be far behind. Also, what's the difference between "no commitment" and "unlocked" when I buy directly from Apple?

    IPhone 5 no contract

Does anybody know when the iPhone 5 will be available at full price, no contract? Verizon shows the prices but they're kind of grayed out. The Chat person told me I could preorder it now which obviously was not so.

    Signal strength?

Where I live there's no wi-fi or cable and I had maybe one bar on a good day. So I climbed on the roof and had 3 bars. Didn't do me any good inside the house though. So I spent about $400 and installed a Wilson DB Pro Signal Booster system with an omnidirectional antenna on the roof. Solved all...

    Goodbye iPhone 4s

I pilot a small plane for fun and hate those towers; and balloons with their guy wires are worse. Crop dusting is for the very brave! I only fly that close to the ground when I want to land:-)

    Goodbye iPhone 4s

Good idea! I tried it with AT&T but they declined. Also went to a "fly-by-night" Verizon outlet who was willing to let me have an iPhone with a deposit. His business card had a couple of numbers that were from a forwarding service. Anyway, the next day I went by the store, he was gone... I give...

    Goodbye iPhone 4s

Very informative post. So instead of trying to improve signals in the cities where practically everbody is covered, why not start with what you so aptly called "the sticks" where I live... I know the answer, not enough people to make it worthwhile for the telecoms. Government funds that are...
