WWDC 2019 will take place on June 3-7 this spring in San Jose, CA. Registration information was sent to registered developers earlier this week. The keynote will take place on the first day of the conference.

Pre-orders open up today for the new Apple iPhone XR. Apple began accepting pre-orders at 12:01am through its online store and the Apple Store App. The 6.1-inch iPhone XR is the third iPhone released in 2018, and the least expensive of the new devices. The iPhone XR features an LCD display with a resolution of 1792x828, a single-lens camera system, lesser water resistance, an aluminum frame, Haptic Touch, and LTE Advanced.

Happy Birthday iMac! Apple released the first iMac was on August 15 back in 1998. The iMac, which sold for $1,299 at launch featured a 233 - 700MHz PowerPC 750 G3 processor, 4GB of storage, a 15-inch CRT, a CD-ROM drive, and an ATI graphics card.

During the introduction, Jobs said "This is iMac. The whole thing is translucent. You can see into it. It's so cool"

The latest speculation about the upcoming flagship iPhone for the fall adds a couple of twists: support for the Apple Pencil stylus and a 512GB storage option. That's what TrendForce's prognosticators predict in a press release issued by the analyst firm. These new offerings could certainly be to compete with Samsung's recently released Galaxy Note 9 that offers stylus support, a 512GB configuration, plus a 6.5-inch OLED screen (the iPhone may have a 6.4-inch AMOLED).

According to just-revealed analysis from TrendForce (and spotted by MacRumors), the market intelligence firm predicts that the 6.1-inch iPhone (which could be called the iPhone 9) will start at $699 or $749.

Apple's AirPower charging mat is expected to Cost $149 and could be released this September. The AirPower will be able to charge multiple devices at once, including the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3 models, and AirPods placed in the new wireless charging case. The pricing details were shared by a Chinese website named Chongdiantou.

Apple today seeded the seventh beta of an upcoming iOS 12 update to developers for testing purposes, one week after seeding the sixth beta and more than two months after introducing the new software at the Worldwide Developers Conference. If you have any problems or comments with the newest beta, be sure to post in this thread!

Update: Apple has also removed the update from the Apple Developer Center.
