I FOUND THE ANSWER ON YOUTUBE!!!! If u have a padlock icon on your status bar with a circular arrow around it, you are locked in portrait mode! This can be turned off by double clicking home button (this will bring up any apps etc you have open) scroll them to the right so the section...

Tried the hard re set...didn't work. Reset the phone through the preferences and it works but I am back to square one on the phone. When I then reset from the Icloud it doesn't work again.

I have found that it seems to be disabled if I sync up to my computer. It only works again after I reset the phone... any ideas
