Softstar is an independent company focused on developing, editing and operating online games on multiple platforms, including mobile devices, personal computers (PC) and the web. Since its founding in 1988, Softstar has been a pioneer in the Asian market in the RPG (role-playing game) genre. Softstar is responsible for some of the most successful titles in the Chinese-speaking market such as “Xuan Yuan Sword” and the “Chinese Paladin” series. With offices in Taipei, Shanghai and Beijing, it has edited and operated over 150 games, and its IPs have been successfully exported to the audiovisual sector.
