I do not know :$, but if i update the app ... i will lose the msg or not ?

Hello everybody hope you are all doing well, Actually i have a problem with my viber app it's not opening maybe because it's have a lot of msgs. I do not want to deactivate the account and lose the msgs. does anyone know a good solution for this ?? plz :$
