So I ended up re-downloading redsn0w onto my laptop. Worked first try.....so maybe its a problem with the newest version of redsn0w and windows XP (Desktop PC I tried on originally) Thanks though!

Oh Apple cares. They just can't go after anyone legally since the US Gov. Said that jail breaking is ok under the DMCA. Apple can't prosecute anyone so they will just try to make life difficult for jail breakers/unlockers

Fair enough. I'm pretty sure this back plate I've installed is made of lexan (or a similar material), so I'm not too concerned about breaking the glass

I have actually run into some problems using redsn0w 0.9.10b5c. Seems it gets to loading the first part of the jailbreak (the step directly after it detects the phone in DFU) and says it has an "Unexpected Error". I have no idea what to do at this point. Any help would be great!!!!

Curious if anyone on here has any experience with the mod I've seen floating around the Internet. It's a replacement backplate and LED mod to make your logo glow. More or less wondering how much of a hassle these are to install (provided someone on here has installed one!).
