VoiceOver appears to be a function in iOS5 to assist someone who is visually impaired. Every button or app that you touch it will speak back to you and then you have to double click to access that app. I am speculating of course, but it seems to have that type of application.

I thought it messed mine up too. Apparently in Settings-General-Accessability it is defaulted that three clicks on the home button turns on VoiceOver. I highly recommend that if you do not need this feature you should turn it off, because if you have a passcode it is very difficult to get back...

Yes, found the fix. Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings. This does not erase your phone, but it will reset all connections. The only thing you should have to recreate is your wi-fi connections.

I'm on the phone with AT&T now, so it appears that the problem is with my plan that was changed from Family to an Individual right after I transferred over to the 4S.

the phone seems to know who has iOS5 because it has greyed out in the text box either iMessage or Text Message, but my Text Messages are simply not being received or sent...either way, they are not getting them.

iMessage is working fine and it does send to my son who also has iOS5, but anyone I send to without iOS5 is not getting my texts.

Does anyone know why I can iMessage with my iPhone 4S, but I can't Text Message? Send as SMS is turned ON under Settings-Messages which allows to send as SMS when iMessage is unavailable. Very frustrating!

I have the opposite problem. My iMessage works, but anyone that does not have iOS5 is not receiving my Text Messages.

My new 4S is only sending iMessages and not Text Messages. Any solutions or guesses what may be the malufunction?
