Obviously app's can only access whatever you explicitly give it access to but this situation is a little different. What I would say is that if it's been around for 6 years then something would have happened by now if the devs had bad intentions.
It's strange how Apple only has like 15% of the phone market but it feels like if you don't have FaceTime or iMessage you're getting left out. Just goes to show how remarkable their products are.
Interesting development, looks like this will be used to enhance security rather than replace the fingerprint sensor. I wonder how they'll integrate it because using your iPhone in the dark would present issues, but I like the idea nonetheless.

Four models in one year, looks like we're in for a treat in 2017. It looks like they're trying to cater to all price points too which is a new approach for them.
I've a close friend who has an S7 Edge and he says the curved screen is a total gimmick. If they do go with curved screens it'll be interesting to see how they utilise it because I can't think of one use that would justify it.
