I'm on Vodafone - I live in the UK. It's up to date with software/updates etc

I recently upgraded from the iPhone 3GS to 4S n I know all new phones have teething problems but my phone keeps freezing and the only way to fix is by rebooting it - which I do several times a week. Surely this can't be good for the phone? Can anyone advice me please?!
