Would Apple replace my Iphone 4?

I got my iPhone 4 last May, so the one year warrany still applies to me. I have horizontal section on the screen of my iPhone that is a deadzone, whatever I do, the screen does not respond. This began to happen a few days ago. I went to my AT&T store today and they told me to go to the apple store, which I have an appointment for on friday. All the way on the bottom right side of my iphone there is a tiny scratch, and on the backside of the iphone on the bottom left hand side there is a tiny crack. These cracks happened a long time ago, probably around last summer. WHen I take my iphone in on Friday to teh apple store, will they deny me a replacement because of these cracks even though they have nothing to do with the problem at hand? Any suggestions?

As long as you're under warranty you should be given a replacement.
