I’ve seen somewhere that it will be available in 2018.
It’s called AirPower, and they are still working at it.

That’s the one I’d be interested in as it has room to charge the iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods at the same time.

If the supply of the new iPhone X is as short as rumours suggest, you may still get the charging pad before you see delivery of your iPhone X.

At today's exchange rate it's very reasonable at £43.43

Just to give a different view. Wireless charging doesn't ring my bell at all. I'm retired and around the house a lot so I plug it in every night and if I need to charge during the day I have a couple chargers plugged in around the house. The rest of the stuff in the X -- I WANT IT NOW!!

My 2015 Samsung Galaxy S6 has it. I rarely ever use it. It's slower than plugin. My charger was about $25 online, not made by Samsung. IMO it's no big deal at all.

Wireless charging only makes sense to me when I also have the watch and the AirPods. So three devices, one charging cord and one mat - sign me up!
