White function circle on scrern

How do I remove the function circle that has the home, shake, gesture, & volume choices on the home screen? When I updated my software to iOS 5.1 it appeared on my screen. Youthemanjlb

Settings->General->Accessibility->AssistiveTouch -> Set to off.

Thank you so much, skull one. The circle kept getting in the way on my screen.

Remember where that is located. If your home button stops working (my 3GS did that and I was still under contract) you can use that as an alternative. You can move it to a new location on your screen by dragging it with your finger.
