What’s your favorite book?

I'm curious, what is your favorite book out of all the books that you've ever read? It can be literary or popular, fiction or non-fiction. Basically any genre. If you can, explain why it's your favorite. Otherwise, you don't have to. I want to see if there's a specific one that reoccurs. Plus, I'll add the titles to my list to read to add to my list of read.

I really liked the twilight series. I also loved 50 shades of grey and am just starting into The Host.

It's hard to see beyond Lord Of The Rings by Tolkien but......I'll plump for The Dark by James Herbert.
