We have had the tail end of Storm Imogen from the USA battering parts of Britain and causing damage.

The storm had an effect on the European mainland as well. I've heard of a tornado in Calais, and Germany had wind speed up to 101 km/h yesterday, as well as thunderstorms and showers of sleet.

Yes much calmer today, People have to deal with the damage now and lots are without electricity.
I hope the next storm won't come any time soon. The damage that has been done so far would be enough for a whole year.
Since about 4 PM we have storm here as well, with 60 - 70 km/h. I can hear it raging outside. Not as bad as in Germany, still enough to better stay at home.
