Water damage

Dropped my iPhone 4 in water last night

All is fine ie sound,screen, calls, FaceTime etc however just come too charge it & it won't charge?

Any suggestions?

One of two issues. The iPhone is not 100% dry or part of the charging circuit is now damaged. If you didn't let it dry out with the power was off for at least 24 hours, you can induced an electrical failure. Especially if you paniced and tried to turn the phone on right away before all the water was out of the phone.

So turn it off, let it dry out for another day and see what happens.

I didn't switch the phone off luckily so will leave it another 24 hours and hope for the best.

put the phone in a bag of dry rice,it may help to absorb the moisture.
