i dropped my iphone 3gs in the bath , it will switch on , but the screen is really dark

the usual thing is not to switch it on and to put it in a bag of dry rice for a good few days,you could still try the rice treatment though.

I doubt if it will be ok, I had a single rain drop down the headphone socket and it killed mine, fortunately as it was only one sensor activated ( you have 4 on a 4s) apple swapped it out ...
Time to do an insurance claim
