Wanting to buy iphone8 plus?

Hi guys, my iPhone 6 took a dive and need a replacement. I like the screen size on the 8 plus, but I’m also looking at the XS Max, but I still like the home button. I don’t do much on my phone except basic stuff. You think I should consider the 8 plus, instead of the XS Max? thank you

I have a Plus sized phone, used to have an 8 Plus but now have a 'regular' 8 and an X. The 8 is my 'don't care if I drop it phone, I LOVE my X

I got the XS Max instead. This should last me a while.
