Video editing

is there an app or some way to edit bits out of videos? Like if I have a say 30 second video and only the first few seconds and the last few seconds are any good. Is there a way to keep them as the same video and take middle part out rather than having the first bit and last bit as separate videos?

You could try Apple's own iMovie App. It is free from the App Store.
