Update Jailbroken and unlocked iphone 3GS to iOS 6

Hi I need some help updating my iphone 3GS with iOS 4.2.1 to the latest iOS.
It is jailbroken and unlocked. I'm not really worried about have Cydia or anything just want to have the latest iOS

I'd really appreciate your help!

The only problem you'll have is that some tweaks/apps might not work on iOS 6. Open up Cydia and see if you see iOS 5.0.1 or 5.1.1 on the top of the main screen. iOS 5 is a bit more stable for jailbreaking purposes. If it's there, you can upgrade to those instead. If not, then iOS 6.0.1 is still jailbreakable. Is your 3GS unlocked using an IMEI unlock, a backdoor unlock or UltraSn0w. If it's an IMEI unlock, you'll be fine. If it's a backdoor unlock, you'll lose your unlock. If it's unlocked using UltraSn0w, you'll need to re-install UltraSn0w again after jailbreaking to unlock it again.
