Can any one tell me if there is a way that I can legally unlock my old iPhone 3G. I do not have a contract and have used pay as you go in the past, but I find o2 very expensive. I am a pensioner and on a limited budget. I really need some thing that is very easy to follow because I am not very good with computers, any help would be very much appreciated

I think you can go in to one of those little independent phone shops and pay about £10 to get it unlocked, Here we have a couple of stalls in the market that do it too, Have a look in Yellow pages under Phone shops to see what you have near you.....o2 is expensive, once it is unlocked you can go with someone else, I'm on 3 mobile and find it pretty good on pay as u go.

Call O2, they will unlock it for free for you IMHO.
