Unlimited data plan?

Currently I have an old Samsung Eternity smartphone...I am due to update now...I have unlimited data with this phone for two years now...My question is will AT&T let me keep the unlimited data by granfathering me in or do you think they will take that away and limit me to 2GB?? when I get a new Iphone4?

When my 2yr contract was up, I switched from 3gs to 4 and they let me keep the unlimited plan, just because I asked them to. And it was long after they said that the unlimited plan was not an option anymore.

I was also able to grandfather in with my unlimited data plan even though I was switching from a blackberry to the iPhone4.
