TXT message question. New to forum

This should be easy. What setting(s) do I have to change to allow Android phones to send me pix in the txt message, and for me to do the same? A lot of my friends have Androids and when I try I get an error message. Thanks in advance.

In your Settings app, go to the iMessage section. One of the lines you will see reads "Send as SMS." Make sure that is turned ON and you should then be able to send and receive pictures.

It's turned on and still no pix will send to Android phones.

I'm sorry - but I've got nothing more. I use the regular iPhone Messages app and send/receive text messages (including pictures) from my Android-owning friends with no issue.

Hopefully, someone else will be along who may have more help. Sorry I couldn't...

Tap Settings - Messages and make sure that the MMS toggle is turned on. This should allow you to send/receive pictures in your texts with your Android friends.

Yes, turn on MMS. MMS is multi media....Pics, videos. SMS is regular text.
