Transfer song rated from iphone to itunes

I have the new iPhone 5s and the most recent software (7.03?). When i rated several songs on my iPhone, it failed to sync back up to iTunes. I have iCloud and supposedly automatic sync. I also synced it up directly to my computer via cable. Still no transfer of ratings. I've never had this problem with any of my old i devices (old iPhone 3s, still using iPad 2 and iPod).

First time submitting anything to any forum, and obviously not the end of the world. In digging on the internet, this may be a new iOS 7 problem?? Am I missing something on my settings?
