Transfer Contacts from icloud to phone

Hello all,

I managed to delete all my contacts from my phone. They are all stored on icloud and I'm wondering how to get them back on my phone from there? I'm new to Apple products and iPhone and I'm pretty confused.

Here's what I do. Open the contacts app, tap the "Groups" button at the top left, then tap All iCloud. I just leave it there all the time and haven't seen a problem with that, my contacts are still there even in airplane mode.
