There's been a lot of talk recently regarding Apple's upcoming spaceship-shaped campus, as many consider it to become one of the best office buildings in the world. And now, in a fresh interview with Fortune.com, Tim Cook said that he wants to name all or part of the new spaceship campus after Jobs.

Adam Lashinsky with the publication said the following regarding the new campus:

"Cook visits the work site periodically —including twice already with Apple’s board—and he exhibits an engineer’s glee at watching the 22 construction cranes that dot the landscape. He says Apple hasn’t decided yet exactly what it will call “Apple Campus 2,” the current internal designation. Some naming element of the buildings or the entire locale will almost certainly include an homage to Jobs, depending on his family’s wishes, says Cook."

Sobs is known to have been obsessed over the design of the new campus, saying the following once:

"I think we have a shot at building the best office building in the world"

Cook also calls the new campus "the mother of all products," saying it will come with high-tech features like special apps that can direct employees who commute via car directly to open parking spaces. He also added that

"the office "shouldn't be a place that doesn't turn on your creative juices. I hate the word 'headquarters,'" Cook added. "There's real work going on here. It isn't overhead, and we're not bureaucrats."
