Sync Issue

I've taken several downloads directly via WiFi by requesting "Get More Episodes..." on the iPhone4 Ipod. Now I can't clear them from the phone, although they have been listened to.. The iTunes sync will only remove those podcasts that have been downloaded from the computer. How can I get the other podcasts off my phone?

When you do to itunes> more> download/ and swipe on the downloading file, you don't see the delete icon popping up after swiping on the downloading file?

When I get to the "Download" page... the heading is Downloads and is blank.

Back up your iphone to computer with itunes ,and then format your memory card of iphone.

Have done that and it cleared up the problem... thanks to all for the suggestions. Issue closed.
