9to5 Mac has today posted a picture of a case that is said to be for the forthcoming iPhone 8. The clear case, which was posted via KKSneakLeaks, has cutouts that actually tell us quite a lot about the forthcoming iPhone 8.
Both the vertical dual camera array and the elongated power button are two features that have been included in recent schematics of the iPhone 8, and they are also apparent here. There is no hole on the rear of the device for a Touch ID sensor, also supporting recent rumours that the sensor will not be sited on the rear of the phone and will, as planned, be embedded in the edge-to-edge OLED display.
The overall size of the case indicates that the iPhone 8 is similar in size to the 4.7-inch iPhone 7. You can also see the slightly curved design clearly, supporting recent rumours that the phone would be only slightly curved.
9to5 Mac has very helpfully posted an image of the case next to the Venya Geskin iPhone 8 dummy that was posted last week, to give an even better idea of what the finished phone might look like.
