Popular Swedish music-streaming service Spotify received a long-awaited update on Thursday. Spotify version 2.2 adds the new Top Tracks in Your Network features, as well as the sought after iPhone 6 and 6 Plus support.

Obviously Spotify already works on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, but before the update the app was running an upscaled version, making the interface a little blurry. The company has now modified the app to run to the correct resolution on the larger-screen devices.

Top Tracks in You Network is a feature that shows what the people a user is following are listening to. Under the Browse section, tapping on the new feature shows a playlist of all the most popular songs your friends and family are listening to. The playlist refreshes every single day and shows who listened to what, making it easier to find songs with people who share the same taste in music.
Spotify 2.2 changelog:
  • Spotify now looks so much better on the big screen on your shiny new iPhone 6 Plus
  • What are the people you follow listening to right now? Check out Top Tracks In Your Network. You’ll find the playlist in Browse. (Rolling out to all users soon!)
To take part in the new features and unlimited streaming of music requires a Spotify Premium membership. The Spotify app and radio can be found for free in the App Store.
