Single Sign-On Is Now Available On iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

It seems the much talked about Single Sign-On feature is now live for iOS and tvOS users. On iOS the feature can be found under Settings>TV Provider and under Settings>Accounts>TV Provider>Sign in on Apple TV.

Single Sign-On allows folks to sign in with their cable credentials, watch apps like AMC and WatchESPN, without having to log in to each and every one. Similar to Facebook and Twitter log ins on iOS.

Currently the feature is limited to 8 providers: CenturyLink Prism, DirecTV, Dish, GTA, Hotwire, Hawaiian Telecom, MetroCast, and Sling TV. To find apps which support the feature, head on over to the App Store where you should find a special section for Single Sign-On.
