A lot of people have been getting big laughs out of a game called Monino today that has appeared on the app store from developer FeiYingInfo, which is an unashamed Mario rip-off. And if you think that’s being a bit harsh, then check the video above from Electricpig and see what you think! Need more evidence? Okay, the game’s hero, Monino, has a brother that needs rescuing from a villain called Bowler, who lives in a castle! As Electricpig notes, it’s a mystery quite how this game managed to make it through to the App Store despite Apple’s usually stringent controls. At the time of writing it’s still available to download on the App Store, despite getting a lot of exposure today. I really can’t see it being available for much longer once Nintendo get wind of it, so if you fancy a bit of a laugh at the shamelessness of it all, then you’d better be quick. The game has a Chinese name in the App Store, so you won’t be able to find it by searching for Monino. Your best bet is to click directly on the link below, or look for the developer’s page.

Click here to download the game for $0.99/£0.59: ???????? for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on the iTunes App Store
