On my iPhone 4S - any of the sounds that i assign to Ringtone are at very low volume and also are not heard at all thru headphone connection OR thru bluetooth speaker. However those same sounds assigned to Text, Mail, Tweet etc are heard at full volume AND are heard thru headphone jack and bluetooth speaker. My poor hearing requires that volume be set high always.
