my verizon iphone4 wont boot past the apple screen. i can get it in i guess its safe mode where you can get to itunes but it says that when it restores it will also update to the newest update whitch is the one i dont want.4.2.10. is there a way around this or can i down grade the firmware after update? im so new at this i squeek so explane it to me as if im a baby.....thanks im waiting to hear back before i do anything....

If you didn't jailbreak and save shsh then I don't think that you will be able to downgrade. Are you jailbreak? If not then why don't you just upgrade? It's the same.

Why are you trying to restore you for any ways? Are you having trouble with the firm ware thats on there now?
