Removing Routes from Maps

How do I remove old Routes from Maps?
I can add "another pin", then have the option to remove that pin but still stuck with the last route.

Just tap on edit and enter another starting point and another destination point, or simply clear the info in "end"

I knew I could Edit by adding another route but I want clear it all. I don't see "end" ?

Follow these screenshots:

tap on direction then tap edit.

tap on the x

use the space bar to put 2 or 3 spaces in the end field.

the road map should be clear now.

I'd already tried Edit and End but then I'm stuck with this screen? Cancel is the only way out and it goes back to the previous maps?

set start to be your actual position, then put 2 spaces in end field, you should have a blue "done" icon on top right after that.
