Removing Custom Ringtones

I may be an iDope but in my iTunes Library there are six custom ringtones I have added, yet in my iPhone ringtone library there are ten...

Have tried sync-ing but the ten stay...
Cannot un-check them because they are grayed out...
Cannot select and delete from iPhone ringtone library...

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try unticking the sync ringtones box and sync your phone. Make sure the ringtones ringtones you don't want are removed from your iTunes library/computer. Then recheck the sync ringtones box and resync...

are you jailbroken? if so you can ssh delete them also if the untick sync ringtones in itunes does not work
