At work or at home, when I read an e-mail that is sent to me there is "NEVER" sent to the sender that I have "read" the email. Because that feature is turned off at work and at home. However, since getting my new 4S iPhone, if I read those emails on my iPhone there is a message sent to the sender saying that I have "read" the email. I cannot find a setting on the 4S to disable this function so that I will not send a read message to the sender.

Help.

Unfortunately there is no way to stop sending the read receipts from your iPhones mail.app :( sorry

Is there an app that I can download to disable the "read " feature of iPhone emails?

no unfortunately there is no app at all that will disable this feature it's because of the Microsoft Exchange licence that apple is using is not a fully fledged Microsoft app and is just a licence purchased from Microsoft to allow the mail.app to work and connect with a Microsoft exchange environment set-up on your server.

Sorry for the bad news :(
